Check this out, this just happened to me within the last two months!! I bought a token on feebay, around $20!! After 25 days of waiting for delivery I filed a claim and got a refund! Around a month after I got my refund I got the token!! The seller had used a half size envelope. I mean it was a pad filled envelope but it was as narrow as a letter envelope! I figure it must have gotten stuck between something! It was a strange experience getting a refund from the dude too. All he kept saying was he mailed the token! Hell, I had already contacted the bay and wanted a refund! I'll tell ya, you never know what will happen next with delivery!! :D

Sounds like an honest seller. After receipt did you contact Ebay and tell them to reverse your credit and give the seller his money?

Items with wrong addresses and no return address or any item the post office can't deliver or return goes to the dead letter office (Mail Recovery Facility). At the dead letter office they open the item and try to find and address, if that fails the item is destroyed or put up for sale if it has some value. Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_letter_office

I have had some experiences that were also concerning. Finally, after much frustration, I simply waited until the Postal Clerk (a good citizen) was alone and showed an example of some of the goods I receive via USPS.

Now, when I go in to get my mail, if it will fit, it is almost always inside their safe. I thought that was nice - no misplaced and rarely delayed mail since.

Exactly! I am lucky to live a block down the street from a "hub" location. They know me very well, so well that I have sold some collectibles on ebay for them.

POst offices are stereotypically tough environments to work in, doing little nicey nice things for your local carrier will go miles!

If you are going to order alot of coins or other valuable stuff, get a PO Box. It's a small price to pay for security. Your item never leaves the post office. It's also nice not to have other people in the house knowing what you're ordering.
