I love the dirt in Athena's mouth and in her eye. Gives definition!

    Stunner of a coin.

See, I disagree about the pictures. I think you could do a ton better. But honestly, its not your fault. That's another complaint against slabs - taking pictures!

True. Speaking of slabs, I saw something that blew my mind and made absolute sense at the same time. I saw a couple of collectors that had put plastic protectors over their slabs, the kind used on PDA's and cell phones. I asked them nicely about it, and they said it was to protect the plastic slabs from becoming scratched. Wll, if you collect plastic it is a great idea! I wonder if they will have "mint tags" holders to protect their CAC stickers! I an see it now, "Flawless PCGS slab, with mint CAC sticker. Oh yeah, their is a coin of some kind inside the plastic too!"

    No offense meant to anyone.

Can you please elaborate on those comments? Not following what you mean.

Your pictures can use much improvement. But, most of the difficulties probably result from the slab. Why don't you just use the Heritage photo?

i thought the photos of coins in slab look better than original and heritage photos..

I would agree that the Heritage pictures are too bright and washed out. But the pictures in the slab are much too dark and unevenly lit, showing vast areas of plastic, instead of the coin.

Because it's not the same as having it slabbed, you know?

Specifically tell me what about them needs improvement.

No, I don't. If you're interested in the coins themselves, I see no reason why you would want a picture of the whole slab. I don't own any slabbed coins myself, but the most professional displays I've seen (on this site and elsewhere) edit the photo so that the obverse and reverse of the coin fill the whole field, but paste the ticket from the slab below.

I essentially said it already. The lighting needs to be improved and the cropping.

Why are you selling it for so much?

Very nice coin! I have no problem with it being slabbed. In fact, it provides an opinion of authenticity by a reputable organization, which I think counts for a lot. I collect ancients and none of mine are slabbed, but I have no problem with it.

Yeah I dont mind slabbed ancients either (I dont own any myself) but I think one problem is some people use them just to tack on a larger price tag (in this case $1600 more then what the OP paid).

    even with the "BNB" guarantee.
