Let's play "what to do with a $1,000.00".

If you had the cash in hand ($1,000) which paper note would you buy. If picked "other" please explain. These are actual my favorites of many but have found all in the budget.

    Thanks for replying

I turned down an educational note when I first started collecting, it was in poor shape, I do not know how nice of one a grand would fetch, but it would have to look better than a rag.

NOTE THAT IS VERY CHOICE. NOTE HAS VIVID COLORS AND NICE MARGINS. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OLD FAINT REVERSE CREASES BUT OTHERWISE NO PROBLEMS

How does this work? All items in the poll are $1000 given the details you've mentioned for each? or $1k to put towards it as some notes may go for more than that amount? Knowing this will help me decide as I need to know how much I am going to have to kick in myself over this $1000 to acquire.

The poll has a typo in the Edu note SN. The note pictured is "1220614" not "220614" so that kinda makes a difference.
And I suppose "00065066" is the SN for the $500? What district is the $500? and block its letters?

Seriously krispy, relax this is just for fun LOL!

    - Yes, the serial number is 00065066
    - All notes will go for less then your $1000. No more-but less
    - Go by the picture not my error 1220614
    - Yes, 00065066 is the serial.

Seriously, then you need to take some major points you overlooked into consideration and not suggest others aren't relaxed and attempting to enjoy this. There's no point to the poll if you are not going to take this seriously. $1k is a bunch of money and these are significant notes that one must consider all aspects of before laying down that kind of cash. If I don't know all of these details then I might be wasting a lot of hard earned money and own a disappointing piece in my collection. Knowing that I know as much as I can before making a purchase, in part, makes this fun and enjoyable. Making a mistake remains a painful reminder of not doing my homework first.

Thanks for the answers to my questions. I'm just waiting to vote on the poll until I see the $500 note.

Am I missing something or would it be crazy to spend $1000 dollars on the last two choices?
I picked Educational since it is the only bill of the 5 that I really want in my collection at this time. I do understand why people would pick the Chief or the $500 though.

Not really. Some would probably buy the last two and put the rest toward of the $$ toward something else. Maybe, some would buy the last two for they already own the top 3.
