In a nut shell, each day @ work I throw in a few bucks in the vending machines and hit the change return button. The local vending company regular stocks the machines up with dollar coins. Well, today I through in $2 dollars and out came a 1979S and 1999P Susan B. Anthony. Never coming across one before I brought these home to share with you guys. Probably nothing special but fun to see if the 1979 was a Type I or Type II. I'm sure it's a type I. Eitherway, thanks for looking and comments welcomed. Maybe you ahve a story on a type II.

I used to put extra money in the Atlanta MARTA ticket machines when I would fly down south, they would spill out dollar coins every time. I find that a lot of the public transport ticket machines around the country do the same.
The near date one is on the 1979-P and not the S mint. But here is an image that you can use to tell which one is which on that year/mint. http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/coop49/1979-P_Near_Date-Regular.jpg
I bought a few years ago. The business and strikes and proofs. Real duds for for someone wanting one.
Very nice surfaces on that '99, and from what I've seen locally, better than avg for a circulated '79. Good find!
Its always fun to get coins in change that you don't see that often. I love spending these as well. Remember, the Type I and II's were 79 and 81 proof designations. Always check to make sure that you don't have an impaired proof coin. Your 79 is a business strike. Have fun searching.
