OK, hope we have collectors out there that can help me add up (worth total value) of Reich Bank Notes. If you need more info or close ups please ask.

Again, I'm looking for a total value (what's it worth to a collector) or if you want to break it down by note style ($per note) that would be great.

    Thanks for looking.

These are all fairly common notes. You are looking at maybe $1.00-3.00 per note in this condition.

Looking for a total what? Value? You have a huge amount of stuff you are expecting someone else to do all the work for you.

The condition of these are pretty rough. Go check out eBay completed auctions for each note to get a ballpark on values.

You will also want to pick up a copy of Standard Catalog Of World Paper Money

Nominally it's about 108,000,000 mark, but they are nearly all inflation notes, with the lower denominations coming from earlier in the process, and all becoming worthless in late 1923, when a new form of mark was issued. Before being demonetized, they could have been exchanged for .0025 new pfennig. The current collector value isn't much higher.

You've got several million Reichsmarks! I think possibly you might have been able to buy a loaf of bread with it in the German Weimar Republic of the 1920s.

Value. This is "What it's Worth right"? I looked around as well and most notes go for .79 to $4.00 each. If the right collector came along he or she could give me a ball park value.

I read turning this amount around is not much. It's more of an collectors interest?

Thanks lettow. That's what I came up with (ballpark) based on the internet.

Sorry. What is IT worth and what are ALL OF THESE worth strike me differently... just trying to suggest doing some of the work prior to hitting up folks with larger requests. You're not the only one who asks a lot, a lot of folks just want to be told what they have rather than try to learn about it through some investigation, which is why I tried to help with links to resources you could employ. it looks like you found a good resource with the German Obsoletes site to get a start on this. :thumb:

I Understand.... Usually I throw out a request @ the same time I'm looking as well. Just a habit. The site I looked up is rather high. I mean $24.99 no matter what note of the pre WWI era. Condition is VG-Fine. The notes look ok but just checking other knowledge.
