1978-S morgan dollar Rpm?

just trying to figure out if this is some type of rpm or something common for this year since i found one looking
similar...

First off, I take it you mean an 1878 Morgan. If so then yes this would be a VAM variety, but because there were so many of these error coins minted in 1878, you would need to research more.
You might want to purchase The Morgan and Peace dollar variety book. First published in 1971, it was updated and reprinted in 1998.
Authored by Van Allen-Mallis (hence the VAM titled varities.

yes i meant 1878 can hardly count how many times i've made that mistake, anyways are there any good sites to check?

 

If you "google" Morgan dollars you will find hundreds of sites dedicated to collecting them.

 

i've tried googling it came up with pretty much nothing which is why i posted here

You can start here. It would help for you to try and narrow your search. Is it a "long nock" arrow? If so, the list becomes much shorter.
