Girlfriend ran home with her camera and all the good pics I'd taken, and didn't bring it back. So I took a few pics of my two new ones with my moms point and shoot, they're... ehh, better than nothing.
its graded MS 62 DPL STAR. when i saw it i didnt have any morgans yet or any slabbed coins for that matter so i picked it up for around 160.
Won this recently. I love the reverse. You can guess the grade. Hope this upload works; I've never posted any images on CT.
Keep post your Morgans Were get some Great looking coin!!! Anyone Have a Proof? Wow there so many!:thumb:
Here is a nice proof, PCGS 62CAM, not my coin. I saw it at the CC show this weekend and wanted to image it. It belongs to Northern Nevada Coin.
There are some slide marks on the cheek, only thing I could really see. They dont really show in the image.
You take really good pics, dude. If I ever have a ton of expensive coins to sell, I'm totally contracting your services. You make that coin look like an absolute beauty, more like a 64 or 65, not a 62.
Interestingly, this other thread http://www.cointalk.com/t127111/, if you haven't seen it, is by an unhappy buyer of a coin bought on ebay that was misrepresented (made to look better) in the pics.
There are lots of things to look for images. I strive to represent the coins the most accurate I can. My hope is that the customers that buy from the dealers I shot for are happily surprised that the coins are better than the image and to not have any coins returned. The NEWP came today:
Didn't know you were the photographer; you take clear, excellent images, really nice. My comment was referring to what seems to be a constant battle between buyers and sellers with respect to photographing and selling coins.
BluVett is Todd and is the one that takes most of Charmy's and many others pictures. He sets up at large shows and will do the pictures right there for you too if he's not busy buying all the good Morgans out there Oh and he's a nice guy too!
