What is the "ARHold" notation on an order status with ANACS mean ? I tried searching the site and the FAQ's but could not find either the notation or a glossary listed. Thanks, gary
Could it have something directly related to the services you've requested with your order??? ANACS Re-Holder?
This is an error coin submitted in my name by an attributor, so I don't have a copy of the submission form. I just checked the order status and saw the notation.
You can also "call the Customer Service department at 800-888-1861 and a representative will be more than happy to assist you."
Guys, I e-mailed ANACS and asked them, what the hold was. It was on hold because payment had not been received. When I first contacted the attributor, he gave me his fee and I paid with my PayPal account. I then opened an account with ANACS, as that was where he would forward the coin. I checked my account and had no balance and didn't know how to pay them. This being my first submission to them and the form filled out by someone else. I didn't even know the amount being charged. lol At least we now have learned that it did not reference the holder. I received a response, informing me payment was required. I replied and now am waiting for someone to give me a payment address, so I can transfer the money. The coin is my 1988 D reverse 89, and I really want it back as soon as possible. lol I am very nervous that it might get lost or something and none of the other 9 known specimens are for sale. I seriously doubt that I will ever find another one in my lifetime. gary
Thanks for the update. I appreciate it. Let us know when you get your coin back how it all turns out.
ANACS only accepts checks or credit cards. Of course, no way do I want to wait for a check to get there, so I called in a CC number. The lady there told me that it was to be returned on the 15th of this month. She said it had not been graded as yet ? But would be shipped on that date. As I said, I am really antsy about this. lol gary
