    Possible die trails and doubling?

    I like this coin but there arent any experts in here so I guess it willl go unknown??:yes:

    Looks like Die Trails to me. Are there any on the steps?

    You can't rely on expert opinions over this medium anyway. There's too much of a margin for error.

    You are so right -->PROSPECTOR..One cant always go on the word of one expert,just like the word of one doctor!!!And to answer your question about the steps,I really didnt pay it much attention.Question, you cant have one with out the other??

    LOL.. " I'm no expert" I think I read some where on Coppercoins or LincolnResorce there is a variety of die trails for the steps.

    Can someone tell me what happened to this 1988-P nickel. There is a circle that runs the entire circumference inside the rim. Thanks. Circle_5C.jpg

    1988- with die clash and die crack

    I like this coin because the reverse look like lincoln is holding a cross.Its just my pics arent good enough to see the fine details.

    Thank you kangayou. I agree--Coin roller damage. I found another coin with the same outer circumference ring, but it started from the center and just like dropping a stone in water, the rings spread to the outer rim. I can safely take that coin and put it with the 'regulars.'

    1999- Die trails

    So far there aren`t any records of 1999-nickles recorded with die trails.Its a first!!!
