That's just an EDXRF instrument, we have one of those too with an autosampler. It runs much faster but doesn't give you the ability to look at different areas of the sample. With the SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) I have the ability to look at any specific point or area and determine the composition with EDXRF. It take about 10 minutes just to get the pressure low enough to start the electron beam. It's an entirely different beast and complicated to operate.

Beautiful coins! I love MPL's! I see the woodgraining on both them.

Those are the 2 highest graded woodies I have ever seen. They usually knock the crap out of them just because they ase woodies.

Here is one I though I had won. It turns out that I received someone else's coin. Some time later after returning the wrong coin, I got a refund. That left me out my shipping and nothing to show for it except promises that I would get my coin. 3 weeks later and 3 emails later, it finally showed up. If there is any doubt, my pictures are on the top and his are on the bottom. Hey, it only cost me shipping, anyway.

Correct me if I am wrong but those are all pictures of the same coin aren't they ? If they are 2 different coins, I find it pretty amazing how closely their wood patterns and other features match.

I read that as saying the poster took the top pics when he received the coin, and the bottom pics are of the same coin, but by the seller.

    Found this beauty while roll-hunting.

Not only is it BU, but it is off-center, and has wood grain like texture.

Talk about a juiced photo. It's a good think all you paid was shipping. I would have sent that back within one minute of opening it. LOL

It was only $12 before the problems, but I would probably still have sent it back since he said it was unc. No way. No how.

Wow, that could be seen as an outright lie just from his own pics, lol!

Unc? Did you leave him appropriate feedback? I'd definately neutral him for the hassle, juicing the photos and lying.
