I was looking through some of the mixed coins I have, separating them and I found the last coin I needed to fill this folder. A Whitman’s Roosevelt Dimes, number two, 1965-2004. All coins were pulled from circulation. My photos aren’t that great but neither are the coins in this folder. At least it’s completed so moving onto the other folders that are missing a few coins. I find the empty holes so annoying.
Now that gave me a good laugh. Fill them and reopened in about 10-13 years. You’ll be shocked and surprised.
I started to keep this collection up years ago from circulation but lost interest. Somehow, clad coins don't do much for me. I have the 1946 to '64 silver set in Unc. and circulated condition. The circ set was from my days as a YN, drawing them from circulation.
This is how I started collecting - pulling coins from circulation and putting them in blue folders. I was so proud when I finished the clad Washington quarters book.
I thought I was the only one that did that, lol. Congratulations. I started working on half dollars from 1964 to date, just for something to do. That's proving to be more difficult than I thought. But, It's just for fun, and I'm having that. Just found a 1983 S Proof in circulation.
It is more difficult than one would think. I bought the last 2 or 3 I needed and completed those folders earlier this year or last year. But I still have about 12 folders and albums to complete. I’m working on those now.
