Jamie, not "cricket" to post offers to sell in this forum. Get a few more posts under your belt and you can do that in the "open" or "classified' sections.
Welcome to the forum! and please do read the rules. As to your question, There will be 2 type of opinions that you will receive when a photo is available, one is grade and the other is authenticity. Please be sure to add a photo of the lower left hand side of the eagle where a mintmark might have been removed as the 1928-S is much less costly than the 1928 ad this has occurred rather frequently. Jim
For clarification, since your original question appears to assume that every coin would have a mint mark - from the founding of the Philadelphia Mint until 1980 no "P" mintmark was used, except for the WW II silver nickles. In 1928 only 360,649 Peace Dollars were produced in Philadelphia, while the San Francisco Mint output was nearly five times greater -1,632,000, all with an "S" mintmark.
Hate to stereotype, but... Location: crittenden , ky Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it sooner or later, it doesn't take long to do so once you immerse yourself and commit to learning how to make it work.
Yeah, we need a photo of the reverse. The reverse is where the mintmark would be (or would have been if it has been removed).
it hasnt been removed , ive done had 2 coin guys offer 350.00 for it . i know they would have spotted it if it had been messed with. but i'll still try to get that pic.
If you've had 2 guys offer you $350 for it, then sell it to them. It seems like that's a pretty fair price.
