everyone has been awsome so far on this site some of you guys are truly educated proffesionals and your knowledge and opinions are of huge benefit to new collectors .. so i got a hold of a bunch of old wheats need a second and third and fourth opinion.:thumb:
I am not just quite sure you want our opinions on. The 1917 looks somewhere around G-4 so it is worth about 10¢ to 15¢. The other 2 are damaged and probably worth only melt - around 3¢ each. BTW, even if they were not damaged, you would be lucky to get over 5¢ for then.
check on the coppercoins.com site. When your pic is blown up, There is doubling but form camera shake. Too hard to tell otherwise.
nothing really worth money, but the 1917 would fill a hole if you start a collection of wheats. the other two are damaged and can be bought in nice shape for cheap.
I had a wonderful find the other day. Out on my Daily walk with the pups, I regularly look for change on the ground near the Mobil station. Well I saw this bright penny and low and behold, it is a 1941 S wheatie. Probably a 64 RB . Nice find huh ? In answer to your question , I have as much fun searching rolls and finding these old Cents as I did as a kid. Instead of placing them in the old Blue albums , today I have a 5 gallon bottle slowly getting filled with Wheat Cents only .
