I recently purchased a 1906 1 Leu with the "heads side" on both sides of the coin. I'll take a picture tonight.
This is my newest Romanian coin. I got it from Allen Berman a couple weeks ago at the Danbury Connecticut coin show. It is about the size of a US quarter. Perhaps I should post it on the error coin forum. There is a sticky note thread there that says something like “is my two headed coin real”
That is interesting. In my last post the word "ago" is printed twice but if I go to edit the post, it shows that I only typed "ago" one time. That's weird.
40 years was quite a long time especially in the late 19th Century I would think This is a portrait of good king Carol I.
