My penny proof set??

    Well my little nephew came to my house yesterday and gave me this penny proof said and said instead of waisting about $20 i got you this 50c proof set he made and i don't know i thought it was funny heres a little picture... :p

    Just out of curiosity, how did he mount the coins onto the paper? Did he glue them on?

    Either way, keep it and show it to him when he grows up, I'm sure it'll bring fond memories :)

    proof? i was thinking regular coins and the tape will probably hurt the coins... but very cool.

    i love things like that. the most valuable coins in our collections are ones that have special meaning and/or a person history.

    Yeah, those are satins from an unc set, yet they are darn close to matte proofs or maybe business strikes, can't tell in that pic. Very cool treasure.
