I dont know what is wrong with this so I decided to join and ask the experts.
here are couple pictures of it. Thanks.

It looks like it has been sanded down with a fine sandpaper.

Not sure about this one nice full rims on the obverse. The reverse looks as if it were struck thru grease. Lets see what the big cheeses have to say...

Almost looks like it, but at closer look it was not grinded down.

    I agree.

If the coin had been "ground down" (as an earlier poster suggested) I would expect to see zinc because these coins have a zinc core with a very thin copper plating.

2 more pictures for the ones who thought it was a misshap. Still the same coin. How often does something like this happen if some one was to offer me something for it what whould be reasonable? 1 Dollar? 10 20?

    Thanks Carlos

to me, the reverse of the coin looks like brockage

I don't agree. A brockage occurs when a struck coin comes between a planchet and a die making the struck coin act as a die. If it was a brockage the image would be in reverse. Could it be a counterbrockage? Maybe. But that would not explain the obverse.

Guys, offers to buy and sell are supposed to be reserved for the Open Section.
