1921 Walking Liberty Half Dollar

That figures, the original pic posted by the OP looks fake to me! Just take a look at that reverse and the pillow looking thing above "Half Dollar" and where's the "AW" initials? Also take a look at the "United States of America", United sticks out like there's no tomorrow!! Someone has been bamboozled!!

Also, why was the obverse pic taken from 3 feet away?

On the reverse, take a look at the "United" "of" "AM" of America! Oh, and look at the talons on the tree branch, that's not right either. Someone is telling a story, sorry but that is a fake!!

Yeah, I told her I needed to check it first to see if it is a replica in the same mail as how much it could be worth and everything seemed to change after that point. I'm thinking it was a replica.

 

I didn't know about the AW on the reverse till you mentioned it. I don't see it ... think I was almost taken.

The rest of that reverse is in excellent condition so the AW should be visible too.

 

From the images I don't see anything that makes me think it's a fake.
At the same time I see nothing that makes me think it's a 1921.

wow i really don't know how you guys can afford such things!! My collection usually consist of crappy coins cause im poor i recently bought one 1917 it was in ok shape i guess for $16 and you guys buy $100!! woah i wish i could buy that beauty!
