I've not positive...the cardboard boxes the halves come in have no company markings at all. The wrappers on the halves are marked, "N.F. String & Son, Inc. - Harrisburg PA". That might just be the company that makes the wrappers, I'm not sure.

Opened the 1st of 3 boxes tonight with the kids

    1-1966
    1-1964
    1-1943

The obverse on the walker is nice but the reverse has a pencil eraser size carbon/corrsion spot. Not sure what it is.

Edit: Opened boxes 2 and 3 and both were skunks

Was going through halves a while back, and found a rotated die error, but only about 15 degrees. Does something like this carry a premium? I've probably gone through a total of 20 or so boxes and haven't found another with any noticeable rotation. Check eBay a little, but they just don't come along that often. Any ideas?

Went through 3 rolls of cents & 2 rolls of dimes last night. Just got some hole fillers. I did find a couple 2010-D dimes also.

She sucks at roll searching dimes... dumping her rolls out in prep for a return to the bank and found 3 more, with another box to go...

EDIT: Nothing in the second. Oh well.

Profit per thousand, by the way, is at $13.06 for halves and $13.95 for dimes.

Is that how many you have found at face so far Ltrain?

Just did $100 CWR of dimes, nothing. Slowly getting rid of the 2010 Ps. I dumped about half of them...I can't believe people will buy them so readily.

Think I'll order a box of halves next week, or start going to the PNC to see if they still have them...haven't done any halves recently.

No, that's profit per thousand. IE; search $1k worth of dimes, I'll find almost $14 in silver.

My actual numbers for halves haven't changed since the last time I posted them. Dimes though...

$4k searched, 43 silvers found, 7 of which were Mercs. That's 3.11 troy oz of silver, valued at ~$55.84. Averaging $3.49 profit per box, or just shy of 3 silvers per.

Oh nice, yea I saw that but didn't think before I asked haha. Pretty good though. I think I've only done $900 in dimes, and at least $1410 in halves, and I've found 5 silver dimes, and 8 silver halves. 4 were in the last roll the bank had when I went to get $300, and 1 was a mutilated franklin that i'm debating spooning, only because I've become increasingly curious about the process. It's junk silver regardless.

I'm in the process of spooning a clad quarter to prove someone wrong on this forum. Taking FOREVER. Haha.

Ha! I was thinking of doing that myself, though I'd use a hammer, but still would take a couple hours I think. Might spoon a silver half (JFK) someday, would be kinda fun to have.

I'm about an hour in and I'd say the sides are about 3-4mm at this point.
