This is a large coin like a USA half or silver dollar right? There are 2 million business stikes & some number of proofs struck for collectors. I don't see any contact marks or luster. This is why I guessed some grade of proof manufacture.
GD to adam and eve after they have eaten the appple dont you guys look before you buy stuff? that wa sa rotten apple now we will have coins as a result and most of my daylight hours will vanish repeating stuff about coins what a tragedy Adam and eve reply but it was the snakes fault GD starts running after the snake the snake on seeing GD tries to do everything but cant avoid him so he finally becomes a gold ducat and GD falls in love
1. Ms-64 2. Doug's, cleaned, flip scraps, grading is a gamble and varies to much, but if I have to AU,58 3. Ms-62
spock I think you need to explain something to these guys. Like exactly who it is that you are referring to when you say "nitwit". Then explain what you mean by the real grade. I think there is some confusion on these 2 issues.
I thought nitwit was like NGC since he mentioned them grading incorrectly? So yes some clarity might make me change my guesses - well not the last two.
If the Nitwit is NGC, then I might change my Nitwit grade to SP-63. I am all over the place with this coin photo. It could be AU, MS, SP, PF (or even have an impaired obverse surface). I look forward to knowing the NGC opinion.
nitwit is whoever you want it to be. it could be a fool it could also be ngc if you think of them as nitwits who am i to argue. The real grade is the actual grade of the coin not by ngc or pcgs but what the actual coin is in their opinion i must say u have really started acting like the grand vizier in your second innings i am proud of you
yes the coin is an ngc holder but since when have they had an opinion that was worth anything? we are lucky if they can spot the difference between fake and real and extremely grateful if they can get the century and denomination right as far as indian coins go.
this is purely my take: nitwit grade: a grade that would be given by a novice, probably not at all accurate. Doug's grade: something a crusty, old, and jaded numismatist would conservatively (maybe overly so) grade it real grade: what most TPGs would grade it (accurate or not) and the correct answers are all according to Spock!!! dig your way out of this king spock!!! LOL
you are looking for king spock? we will let you know once we find him. i am now galactic emperor gurards someone go and press the little button and put mike out of his misery well tpgs can grade indian coins mike we have already established that but if u include them in the nitwit grade then you can compare them to the slab and see where you stand doug is 10 times better than the TPG's even at his age
Alright spock - now tell 'em what NGC graded the coin. Then tell 'em what I graded it before you ever sent it in. You can also tell them that your pictures then were better than these you're using now. And then you can tell them about the other forty eleven thousand coins I graded for you before you bought them ! Or perhaps I should dsay didn't buy them.
