I'm a dog trainer and had an awesome dog I named Tuff he was a great asset to my business.....Jump because I was into skydiving big time. By the way Tuff made several Jumps with me.

 

I met this beautiful chick in a night club one night (my party years) and was so enamored, I asked for phone number. She smiled at me, winked and discreetly wrote something down on a napkin, folded it over and slid it to me. I stuck it in my pocket and later that night I took the napkin out of my shirt pocket, smelled it first and then opened it slowly.

Written on the napkin was "For a good time, call BR549"

PS: For those that don't know, that was Jr. Samples phone number to the used car lot on the TV show called Hee-Haw

 

LOL! That makes me think of "The Office" TV show. The line was from Kevin, someone who could never get a date, he said "I got SIX numbers tonight! Only ONE more and I would have had a whole telephone number!" Hee-Haw was part of my life growing up in Texas. I some how think that Junior never sold a car.

How did I ever miss this thread? Mine is a leftover from another forum I belong to on the subject of print comics. I used to write and draw a weekly comic strip called "Cole" that ran in several newspapers and a lot of websites. Combine that with my first name, Guy and there you go. I wish now I had just used Guy as I get tired of being called Cole all the time, but oh well, too late now.

'Acheron' is the river surrounding the underworld in Greek mythology. (The Latin spelling of it anyway. In Greek it's 'Αχέρων'.) I thought it sounded cool about 15 years ago and have tended to use it, or a variation, on most sites since then.

Texmech= I am from Texas and when I first started gaming on line the game was Mechwarrior. So I combined the two, plus it's a take off of the Texmex food down here. From 1999 to 2007 it ran in some papers published by NewsWest Publishing in Mohave County, AZ, the Cameron County Echo in Emporium, PA, a small trade paper in St Mary's, PA, and a lot of websites. What comic did your dad do? I'm still in touch with a lot of cartoonists like Darrin Bell and Wiley Miller, among others, so I might know him, seeing as we're both in So Cal.

I really like gold. I also really like half dollars (the biggest coin in circulation) and Fifty Dollar bills. When I cash a check I always ask for 50's. Several times the bank couldn't accomdate and had to pay out some in hundreds. I like the Fifty because it's big enough to make you think about what you're spending it on. It's at accepted a little more than the Hundred. So they you have it. I was surprised to get this handle. I think there is another guy on here with an AGE for his avatar.
