I'm surprised no one posted one yet. Gotta love the Morgan Dollar it's big heavy and has a really nice reverse one of my favorites.
Jon4485, if you haven't already, go on ebay RIGHT NOW and buy the 2006 san francisco mint commemorative, the proof AND and UNC version. THEY ARE NICE!
Favorite coin: 1787 Auctori Plebis Cent Why? It's an incredibly interesting piece, with so little of them made, not much information has been found on them. This example is one that I owned for a while but had sold it... wish I wouldn't of but oh well!
My favorite coin is a 1913 Indian Head $5 Gold Piece given to me by my Grandma a few years back. And to reply to green18, I am only 12.
My favorite coin changes pretty frequently. I think I want to use my old favorite coin as my entry, as I don't get to show it off that often anymore. I no longer on the coin. As for what I will give to the winner? A lot of coins. (10) 1962-D BU Cents (1) 1972-D Proof Cent (1) Roll of 2009-P Formative Years Cents (1) 1955 D/D RPM Cent I will be out of town for August 2nd to 4th, so the winner of this contest can PM me their address and they can expect a short delay of the mailing of their package.
My favorite coin as of now is my 1901 Indian Head Cent...and since I just got a whole lot of them, the prize I will offer will be a 2010 P Dime...Cool contest!
I think the nickel counts as a good wager. The 2010-D Jefferson Five-Cent Piece is still very elusive!!!
Not you, coinmaster. you offered a wager, your nickel, he did not offer a wager. so his chances could remain less no matter how flashy the coin pictured, since it's not required to even 'own' the coin to enter the contest for 1 entry, but to obtain greater odds of winning, multiple entries, something you actually own and would be willing to part with must be offered as a wager. hard to say who's da man or gal, if there are any playing, at this point. :smile
I never offered a nickel as a wager, green18 did, a 2010-d. I just posted a pic of my fav coin in my collection. hope there's no confusion.
This is sort of why I was wary of following the tally until the entry period closes. Thanks for pointing out that error.
