    Nice poll. :)

I won't say which I picked, because many will vote against it for that reason. :)

I have seen threads like this before, but none with a poll. I don't like to read.

You're asking two questions, one about value and one about grading accuracy, which may or may not have different answers for any one company. Also, one company may be stronger in grading moderns where another may be stronger in early 19th century coinage.

The poll is too vague so I didn't vote.

@ Hunt1: When's the last time they changed since the last time a thread was initiated on CT about this topic? Seriously, do a little investigating, there's loads of information and 'people's (recent) decisions' on the matter.

Some people like words. Some people like numbers. Very few like both.

    I am a number guy.

Speaking of which, and getting back on topic:

I saw on some website that I can't remember. They ran some numbers on the grading companies and rated them. They were something like this:

    PCGS 79.70
    NGC 79.67
    ICG 68.54

I do not remember the exact numbers or how they got them, but take that for what you will.

If you can't cite the source for your numbers, guy, they're pointless, arbitrary and to the point, had you read the content of that web site, you might have remembered!

The weekly CDN Greysheet posts these stats, but you would have to read it to find them.

Heh. The numbers are about right. What they mean, I have no idea. PCGS was very very slightly ahead, and ICG was in a distant third.

Anyways, I think it is time for the experienced collectors to to do their thing, and time for the amateurs like me to let the experts have the forums. So enjoy your nights.
