Yes, the 2003 MS-70 cent from PCGS (Since downgraded) As far as I know there are no existing MS-70 cents (except those treated with MS70)
Someone on CT once posted a pic of a certified Satin 70, forgot who it was. But, a Satin is not technically an MS, it's a low mintage, almost matte proof.
I do not understand why satins are counted as MS, but that is where PCGS and NGC both list them. That means that there are at least 40 by PCGS. 2005 SP70RD 18 2005-D SP70RD 2 2006 SP70RD 20
Do you have links that show this. Someone posted awhile ago that they classified the Satins as proof, but I didn't check.
sgs, ngsc are not top grading companies sgs is a bunch o frauds.. ngsc ???who?? never heard of them.. there mass slabbing companies to turn a profit...chuck out ms 70's and pf70's to make money.. read up and studying is key..
I have never seen a perfect 70, and I never will. Some may say 70, but they're not flawless. Look hard enough and you'll find the tiniest imperfection that keeps it from a 70...
What amazes me is how those 68 & 69 numbers have climbed. Just a few years ago those numbers didn't exist. I mean they were 0's for the most part.
MS - the SP coins started out getting high numbers right from the get go. I guess I shouldn't be surprised really. It follows right along with the grading issues I continually rant about. And funny how the timing matches up perfectly too isn't it
I've got a couple solid MS-69 '88-D's and an '89-D that are close enough to 70 to call them possibilities. There are a lot of really high grade zincolns. All three of these coins are highly proof like by the way.
Zero know from NGC and PCGS. I am sure there are lots known form SGS, NNC, NEC, etc. There might even be some by ANACS and ICG.
