This morning I walked to the corner store this morning and got a 1961 dime in my change.

After a busy day of grocery shopping, going to Walgreens, going to WalMart, three yard sales, going to McDonalds, and back to the corner store, I settled down in front of the TV to watch Mythbusters.

About halfway through Dirty Jobs, I remembered the dime. I reached in my pocket and...you guessed it...somewhere in my shopping spree I spent the dime.:(

    I feel like Charlie Brown.

that totally sucks....I personally don't spend any change until I have put it in my organizer let it sit for months at a time then search for errors. Cashier asks do you have a penny......if I don't see a leave a penny take a penny tray I just say nope sorry..

I do about the same thing. I check it - then into my nephews coin jars for xmas. As a matter of fact - if I even have a penny I tell them nope.

  10. Easy come, easy go. Don't sweat the small stuff. Maybe that is just a harbinger of a bigger score for you in the future. :) TC

That's why when I get a coin I want to keep in change I drop it in my shirt pocket and not my pants pocket with the rest of the change.

I put any change I want to keep in my left pocket, as normally change goes in the right pocket, yay for systems :)

Im left handed, so my money goes in my left pocket, but sometimes i inadvertently put my change in my right pocket. So, the errors or goodies go in my ass pocket. That way every time i sit down, i remind myself that i got a couple goodies to search through. And it begins.

I try to get pants with 5 pockets.

Two Back~Side......Two Front~side......Plus a "Watch Pocket" where I also keep my Swiss Mini~Knife.

And that is where I place coins to look at my leisure.

It all evens out in the end.

My friend received a 1945 dime from a Safeway change machine the other day.

That's why I use my watch pocket for anything I find instead of the regular pocket.
