    My personal opinion, I like the eagle on our currency much more than a turkey.

    LOL I agree 47 I am a hugh fan of the eagle also and think some of our best coins depict the eagle.

    I'd much rather see the eagle on our currency than a turkey. The folks back in the day saw it differently though, the FE Cent is proof of that. Turkey's are ugly thats why we eat them...

    Even eating them isnt good. Most the time they're flavorless and dry no matter how you make them.

    I think Ben Franklin was right. By the way if you go to the Philadelphia Mint you can see Franklins grave, it's just across the street.

    If you're eating a flavorless, dry turkey, someone doesn't know much about cooking them.

    I agree, but back in the days of the FE Cent, the people weren't impressed with the design, they said it looked to much like a buzzard...
