Here's a classic head 1836. I have an 1811 $5 and 1813 $5 but no photos. I'll try to put it on ya when I can.
That is a sweet looking '36, 900. Get the '11 and '13 imaged so we can see them! In the meantime, here's another... 'dude
Keeping the momentum going... I'm running out of early gold, though... let's see some pics! I'm looking for a nice 1804 Large 8 over Small 8 in case anyone happens to have one that they're willing to part with... regards, 'dude
Here's my old gal, 1853 Liberty quarter eagle. She has alot of mileage on her but she still does what she needs to for me. When I first bought this and opened it up I was totally shocked and I was thinking of selling it but the coin has since grown on me, funny how that works.
That is a cool-looking '53 QE, FB. Nice circulated look without any distracting problems. It is truly a challenge to find circ gold that hasn't been damaged or completely scrubbed out. Very nice indeed. 'dude
I collect Silver so this is as old as I have in gold, but this is in one of my fun side sets of transitional early American coinage :thumb:
