You dont get it. SGS is not a grading company. It is an individual seller who glues his own coins into generic slabs and lables/grades everyone ms70. He has been doing this for 7-8 years that I remember. Sometimes you see folks trying to resell them but not often as most sgs slabs have been discarded and the coin is put into an album or flip.
SGS is a garbage grading company. Every coin they grade is MS-70/PR-70. You will not find 1 coin in their slabs with lower grades than that. They're not a reputable grading service, and certainly not in the same league as PCGS, or NGC. Heck the seller in that eBay ad can't even spell PRICE.
I'm just glad that we got this guy snagged before he could do some real damage out there, I am curious if eBay actually takes the time to check your other listings if you get called on one of them, or do you need to go down someones whole line up reporting each one?
I know that I can't spell, but he's selling a "Quater," not a "Quarter." Maybe THAT makes it worth $20K.
