2008 eagle

    I have been wanting to pick up one of these to add to my collection(I love the eagle dipicted on the obverse). What do you guys think of this 1?

    Over priced. The seller is adding a high premium to the coin because it was lucky enough to receive a grade MS-70. Look around for MS-69 or less, for more reasonable prices.

    Totally agree! Don't waist your money on a MS/PR70 coin unless that is all that you are collecting and even then you can find these for much less. I promise that MS69 coin will look just as nice. I have a complete ASE set graded all MS69. I take comfort in the fact that in any day, any one of these coins could grade a 70, but I saved a ton of money doing it this way. If all you are wanting is this coin because you like the coin, then buy a 69 and rejoice in your savings....then maybe buy the half dollar and $5 gold that goes along with it.     Honestly, I cannot tell the difference between a bullion coin that is graded MS-70 and one that is graded MS-69. The only big difference between the two grades is the price.

    Very minor blemish somewhere on the coin or the strike. But MS-69 is just as good looking as MS-70 and for more realistic prices.

    Good price. NGCs price on that serial number is $102.50.
