When you order multiples do you pick them all up from the same bank at the same time? Are they fine with you only getting like $500 at a time? I mean I don't have $1k to throw around at the moment, and $500 is the most I could do.

Two more boxes of halves and only one 40%ers. My area must have been well searched before I ever got started.

Don't give up. I was starting to think the same thing when I had those 3 shutouts, then hit a mother lode box---if you keep at it, one of those will come up. Look back through the thread and you'll see where many folks have had streaks of over 10 box shutouts, then got a monster box----

I don't. They know I'm broke, haha. I'll usually do $500 at a time, but I've been doing $1k lately because my girlfriend tossed me an extra $500 to play around with for the summer while she's outta town.

Wish I had a girlfriend, or even parents that were that supportive haha. I guess I'll see what I can scrounge up this week. I might just try to take whatever the PNC has, and see if wachovia will order any or if I'll need to wait until friday. Good to know that they are fine with you not doing $1k on the spot. I might try nickels again, and dimes this week. All the news of other people's finds makes me want to search even more...

5 dollars in cents, 4lp-2,2lp-1,1lp-3, 6 wheaties ( 1913 g-4, 1920-d f-12) an upgrade for my 1962d lmc, 1 canadian, and 3 s mints. I am almost at the point where I will need to buy some tubes for the common wheaties. I enjoyed this weeks roll searching, mainly because I was able to fill two holes in my 1909-1940 album, I am starting to see a drop off in the number of copper cents also.

I have been spending less time going thru bank boxes than I did a few months ago but I am also seeing a drop off in copper especially wheats.

Looked thru 22 rolls of nickels last night. One War Nix (1943 P), 10 pre-1960 and 5 MS from the 70's and 80's.

I think I'm going to get some halves tomorrow, and maybe a box of dimes or nickels, and a box of cents.

Thanks I am not quiting yet but, it is difficult to allocate so much time to something with so little reward. I am not enjoying it as much as searching cents, so I will keep searching one thing or another.

On a side note, I traded a lincoln memorial for a 1935 P Lincoln wheat out of the "leave a penny take a penny" tray at Brueggers today.

Wow so I made my best find yet today. I went to the bank I've had luck with and asked for $300 in halves, they only had 1 roll left and I was a little disappointed. It was CWR I opened one side and saw silver, got home, took them out, and pulled 2 '64s and 2 '68 Ds. I just doubled my totals for what I have found at this bank so far in 1/10th of the amount I usually buy. Wow. I was really skeptical at first too, because I haven't had any luck with CWR yet. I think I need to set up an account at this bank. I'm going to try to order a box or two for this week or next, and I think I'm going to try nickels, dimes, and or quarters.

Maybe you were wrong about the northeast Ltrain.

I'm in the northeast and the boxes are typically empty. I'm lucky to pull 4 coins out of 4 boxes in a week.

Slamster, my best box so far had 1 walker, 1 franklin, 1 '64 and 5 40%'s. That's out of $14,000 searched, and there's probably a couple boxes in there I didn't track. The NE is pretty dry, man.

I'll be vacationing near Rehoboth Beach (Dewey, to be exact) the first week of August. Gonna see if I can't score something down there, as they have a much higher percentage of retired people. Calling in advance and lining up $3,500 to search.

Nice plan, Rehoboth is nice a place I've been there a few times. Definitely is retiree haven.

I'd rather go to FL and search down there, haha. Or maybe Arizona, heard they have a lot of retirees too.
