When I joined the site A few months ago I had no idea I was going to be taught so much on the site.I had a pretty good understanding of coins but I dont believe any book, video, or conference can rival the knowledge that is spread on this site daily. I feel the only true way to obtain this knowledge is to be involved.Since getting involved here I also watched my collection grow due to the excitement of learning new things.So I wanna spread the joy and tempt some of you lurkers to get involved. I am holding a contest for a very nice mercury dime. THE RULES 1.) You must join between July 8th through the end of the month 2.)You have ten post by the end of the month 3.) You have to post in here that you wanna be part of the contest!!! (theres one post only need 9 more) And finally you must love coins!!! I will put everybody that joins and meets the requirements name in a hat and pull there name out via youtube!!! you dont need youtube to participate but I will do it that way to add some suspense! I am sure whoever wins will enjoy there new coin

Thanks hamman88 & dimefreak! You guys on CT are making me want to go thru every last coin I acquired as a kid. Started at about 5 yrs old into my teens then took a 30 yr hiatus. What started me back was the birth of my daughter which I started buying her proof sets for the year she wad born forward. I was hoping to get her interested so when I kicked the bucket she would not end up at the Pawnstar pawn shop in Vegas with a brief case full of coins being taken by Big Hoss (hopefully he will own it by that time).
