Mainly looking to confirm they are real(These are NAC specials ), also for a grade range rather than value, but both are welcome. These are both -S pictures will start with the morgan. Let me know if you guys need better pictures. Also i did not pay a fortune for these :rolling: as I was aware of the situation before hand with NAC and other such companies.... 1881 Morgan 1925 Peace They look better than the coins I have loose and in protectors but there are gouges and seech as seen in the pictures. Please click on them to zoom in for excellent close ups, my camera takes great close ups. Any red frails of string are on the outside of the casing not on the coin itself(you guessed it ) Thanks for the time guys.
Probably have been knowing them....I believe that is a calling card of 3rd party/no name numismatists. Could have been glare as well since i took them in daylight/sunlight from the windows, no flash/roomlight. Tried to capture the coin in natural light. I busted em out of the NAC cases and they are in regular holders now. No use having them in a "ms66" state casing lmao, what a joke.
I really hope you read my 1st post "did not pay a fortune" I just wanted to confirm the are real coins and not counterfeits, not adding chinese metals to my collection, probably lead coins if they are fake. hahaha
Should have said, did not pay ms66 value nor a higher price cause they were slabbed. Was looking at the coin.
Any opinions..... 25-30 on the morgan? 25-40 on the Peace? comparing ebay search results/completed auctions....sound about right?
as doug has said, sorry about this but ounce a coin is polished it is classed as it was cleaned so the value is bullion , but you can all ways use eBay. and yes i have bean there ,its not very nice but thats how it is,. hope i dont cause a rumble in the jungle
with a polished coin there is no grade so yes. but sliver is at all most $18 a oz so were your getting $13 from ?. i dont know. if you put them on eBay you could get more, more than likely you will.
Dave they are .90% silver composition, try this site for value in USD for silver US coinage: Coinflation.com
So hows come in some other coins that are showing up on CT people are saying they are of legit value if polished coins are basically worth market silver spot price only(as people are saying in the specific thread coin is polished/cleaned? I believe there's another thread with a similar morgan piece polished and nobody told that chum anything you guys are telling me. Unless his was properly polished :secret:. Cause as i said before(and as others know) alot of the no name grading companies grade their coins high because they were heavily polished/cleaned whilst having numerous nicks and beat marks on the coin.
It also depends on the date and mm, rarity, mintage - all of those things go into the coins price. In this case I think on ebay these would go for between 15 and 25. Just my humble opinion.
