There was talk of using Reagan's likeness on a bill, so it got me thinking.

Of all the recent U.S. presidents, who would you like to see on a coin or bill?

    LBJ
    Nixon
    Ford
    Carter
    Reagan
    Papa Bush
    Clinton
    Baby Bush
    Obama

I deliberately did not have a "none of the above". You HAVE to choose from one of these guys.:rolling:

How about adding a poll on to the thread, it might make a tally easier to visualize.

Don't forget to add a selection for none.

This started out as a poll, Krispy, but I did something wrong and it came out like this. Now I don't know how to add one.

Go to the top of the thread, under Thread Tools, select Add a Poll. Should be able to add a poll still, even though the thread was started.

I think if you decline to vote after posting in here, that is a "none of the above" vote. (it is for me)

just hard to tally the "none" votes for certain, especially if those who would have voted "none" choose to remain post-less in this poll. i specifically suggested it because the topics comes up all the time to replace presidents with allegorical figures of liberty or other national symbols.

  15. I would vote "none" if there was an option for it. I am betting that this thread is going to get too political and heated just like other threads of a similar nature and will have to be closed within a couple of days. TC

I would say none for a coin, come to think of it I wouldn't want any of them on a note either.

I think Reagan is the most deserving...always did like Nixon, but that will never happen!

I'm voting Reagan, but my overall answer would be, get rid of them all, and put lady liberty and a flying eagle on the coins/bills.
