Indeed! And this is the company's 30th Anniversary year, which is why the web site I linked to Air Tite Holders Inc. are running a 30th Anniversary special for 30% off orders of $30 or more.

Likewise, another web site, The Coin Supply Store were, until recently, passing along the savings in the form of a 10% off discount on orders of Air Tite Holders using the promo code: AIR upon check-out.

A few times while on vacation we go along the [Rte. 2] Mohawk trail. Mohawk Indians made this trail many moons ago. It goes east to west and ends up in North Adams after the hairpin turn. I always wanted to go to the airtite facility and see what's what.
OT but N. Adams has a railroad tunnel and a Hoosic tunnel museum. The Hoosic tunnel is about a mile long and took 25 years to build. Nitroglycerine was first used and made in N. Adams.
Anyway I still intend to visit the factory or whatever is there.

Very cool info! I've been through the area a number of times over the years, mainly in route to other destinations. There's a lot of neat stuff tucked away up there in that corner of the state.

Nearby in Pittsfield, MA is the Hancock Shaker Village, a nicely preserved Shaker community set in some beautiful surroundings. It's an amazing time capsule of history of these peoples faith and skills as crafts people. Well worth a visit.

Mass MoCA is another fun place. It's a contemporary art museum set in an interesting old mill structure, right there in N. Adams.

Yup this is OT but when at the Hoosic tunnel museum I asked the guard/ranger where the west entrance to the N.Adams tunnel was. He says it's not public info and the land is private. I said if I buy a book will you tell me? Yes. So he says the tunnel is haunted and it is advised not to enter. I bought a $20 book on the Hoosick tunnel and he gave me directions to the N.Adams tunnel west portal. Anyway we took pictures and when I got them developed there was a white whispy figure coming out of the tunnel following my girlfriend.
The airtite website gives directions so I assume the public can go there and buy products.

LOL! Sounds good. If you got to see the Air Tite folks, see if you can get some pics to share with CT too. :)

Just a guess, but there may have been some confusion as to the websites. I know this much to be true, airtiteholders.com is the originator and manufacturer, where air-tites.com is an authorized reseller only. (I know this from their website FAQ and as they are located in my home State.) It is air-tites.com that is not the manufacturer. Hopefully sheds some light and helps clarify where there may have been some confusion.

Thank you. I have been trying to state this despite the previous resistance and I appreciate your help. :)

Doug - I went to the site Krispy's link leads to, in hopes of finding something to back you up with. However, it does appear to strongly claim that it's owned by the inventor and manufacturer of Air Tite and its rings:

    and:

With that "testimony", I have to agree with Krispy that - in legal terms - the burden of proof has shifted to you.

Did you, perhaps, think he had linked to this site? That company does not claim to be the manufacturer on its "About Us" page. In fact, it says:

    Yes, that is correct.

You were right krispy. It was Air-Tites.com that I thought you were referring to. My mistake.

No problem. Just a simple mix up. Thanks. :)
