Without knowing specifically which pages you are talking about - I can't say. But does it help to know that there are pages I can't view either ?
I do like the new features. And can't see some of the pictures right now too. Anyway, it's good looking Q
I agree, but you mean on the right side of the screen... the new recent posts isn't as nice as the old one. I had customized the old one, just need to figure out how to customize the new one. I liked it how it was better myself.
Nice timing. Do it over a weekend. I suspect there'll be some interesting comments showing up later tonight and tomorrow as revelers come back from 4th of July celebrations to the homestead .. Personally, I'm gonna unplug my keyboard. It works every time.
UMMMMMMMMMMM. I just posted something in the "Classified" ads. When I did it, I got a message about the fact that I didn't have a default "SELLER" profile or something like that. I just clicked through. OMG. I've opened the item I have for sale on the CoinTalk Classified ads. My user name "Pocket Change" is in blue which means I can click it. When I do that, I get an error saying that GOOGLE MAPS is having an error finding me. GOOGLE MAPS is looking for me because I listed two $7 coins on CT? What is this about. Potential buyers can track us down to our houses? Very worrisome. Bad error message
Only problem I really have is I use the Windows 7 Snap Feature, and I normally have two different screens up at once, one on CT, and on either on eBay, iTunes, or YouTube. The problem is when any CT page is put to half screen, it looks like crap, and the text is going all over the place, overlapping different areas, really looks terrible. Never did that on the old site. Although I agree it is extremely fast on the new site, and I haven't noticed a whole lot of things wrong and I'm sure Peter is working on everything else!
Peter, The thing I didn't care for about the "Recent Posts" was the fact that if someone was conducting a contest or a "Guess the Grade", everything else got pushed off the list real fast. The same thing would happen when "Welcome" posts are inserted for newcomers. In many instances, you still had to go into each forum to check on new posts. I'd rather see the wider format for posts which would allow us to view more per page. It would also allow us to post larger images, or at least place them side-by-side (which would nice). There is a lot of space wasted on every entry because personal data, i.e., Join Date, Location, # of Posts, Mood & Blog Entries is listed beneath the avatars. NGC used to use this format, and it was changed so that this info now appears in the top right of each post. It saves a lot of wasted space for each entry. I'm wondering if it is even necessary to show "Blog Entries". What is the purpose of it? Chris
Apache is not the software that was upgraded. Apache is web server software. What really was updated was the vBulletin forum software, which runs on top of Apache.
