Testing the new platform for image posting. 1 of 4 new notes coming in the mail..according to S/L 9th Edition, this should be a new low SN for this issue.

Rick, When I click on your pic, they zoom up into a lightbox with a black background and some navigation buttons below which I can click through, watch a slide show of multiple images or close the window. Images don't display quite as large as some of your scans used to (resized to fit the thread unless you open each image by clicking on it), but then maybe that's just due to the file size too if these are dealer image files. I've been posting some images in the new forum software directly from the Photobucket image URL link, just the way we used to do, with no problems. My images are always sized 1600 pixels on it's widest side. They display fairly large on screen even though in the forum post they have that note "! This image has been resized. click on image to view fullsize!" Very nice numeral too! I'm still working on getting my first "8" for my St. Louis district collection.

    Krispy:

Your are correct Sir. These are Dealer Images that I was granted right's to use. This is a test to see how it would display from PB.
    Thanks for the feedback friend.

    THIS IS ONLY A TEST.

Image URL from Photobucket pasted in the body of the post. Original jpeg image saved at 1600 pixels wide, Photobucket auto resized to: 1024x384.

Image URL between IMG code tags (bracket and close bracket removed for use):

[ bracket IMG close bracket ] image URL here [ bracket /IMG close bracket ]

There are some settings you might want to play with in regards to using images and attachments on the forum.

Click 'settings' in the upper right corner

    Then choose 'general settings'

Next, scroll to the section at the bottom called 'Miscellaneous Options'

I have "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing" selected as well as "Enhanced Attachment Uploading on"

Browser limitations with this forum software could be an issue for some. I'm using FireFox 3.6.6.

Of the 4 new Notes this Series 1928 New York is a duplicate. The other one is in a CGA holder and a 64. This is a better note and I will more than likely get rid of the duplicates when it is all said and done.

The others are a Series 1934B $5 New York, a Series 1914 Fr-911A $10 Large Size Blue Seal Fed Reserve Note, Series 1934C Fr 2105B $50 New York Note.

The $50 34C was the final note needed to complete the entire New York Small Size set including Star notes for this fairly scarce series. I cant believe I finally finished it and have them all.

RickieB: Oh my goodness! you completed your NY small set! Wow! Congratulations. Does that explain your current mood "in pain" due to the last final expenses you need to put up to complete the small sized set?

    Krispy...

Ohh no.. not the entire set for New York..that would cost me 20-30K to finish easily.(recall I am doing $1thru $1000 including stars)
What I meant was the Series 1934C New York Notes Small Size $5 thru $50 including Star's has been completed.
From the few Dealers I know and the folks at PMG say that this is quite the accomplishment. I have also heard that no other complete set is known thus far....but who knows what's out there. Now... New York District did not produce any $100 or $100stars for the Series 1934C so the $5 thru $50 is all there is. Keep in mind that the 34 c series had a Old Back and New Back $20 plus stars so this makes 4 notes just for the $20 1934C series. I am lucky enough to have he highest numbered SN New Back Star listed in S/L 9th edition in this set as well.

What a long time it took..I will post the entire set when the $50 comes in.

The "pain" for my mood is from the surgery I had on this past Thursday..ouch!!

I only need the Fr 908 and Fr 911A to complete the $10 Large Size for (New York Blue Seals)
