Hi, i am wondering if anyone can appraise my coins. i also need to know if their legit. I have a 1944 Jefferson P nickel, what i believe to be a doubled ear 1984 penny(dont no if its just dirty and hard to read or if its legit), a 1996 D half dollar, and a rough 1950 D wheat penny(could again just be dirty, i now its a wheat penny though). now onto foreign money. I have a 1989 canadian dollar(coin), 4 Canadian quarters(oldest is 1968), 2 Canadian nickels('87 and '85),18 normal canadian pennies(oldest is '62), 3 weird canadian pennies(1 looks normal but date says 1867-1992, 1 has a bird on back and date is1867-1967, and 1 has a gate with a crown and is dated 2007), a 2005 bahamas 5 cent piece, a 2000 Philipeans 1 piso piece, and finally a Guatemala un centavo. Plz also tell me if you need pics and plz tell me how to clean coins. Thanks, Seth
I suspect that you are describing two different coins. A bird is on the reverse of the 1967 Canadian cent, which commemorates the Canadian Centennial. The double date on a coin with the standard maple leaf reverse commemorates the 125th birthday of Canada. All of your coins are quite common and have little, if any, numismatic premium over their face value. Don't.
Both have a dual date. The 1967 one is worth only $0.20 in MS63 and the 1992 one is worth $0.15 in MS63
