Well said, the placement of the decimal point really does make a difference to some but not to others....
Non Gradeable Blast White This Morgan looked good raw (Blast White) & came back non gradeable ,so be careful of raw coins. No explantion from PCGS,obviously cleaned at some point but I have others that look similar and Graded. Buy Slabbed if your new at Morgan Collecting toned or Blast White. Now here is one similar Blast White that graded. Why I don't know... ?
Yes, PCGS gave the explanation, you just don't know how to read it. See that .98 - that means the coin is damaged. And no, it hasn't been harshly cleaned. You just aren't seeing the damage.
Thanks,.98= Damaged.... can you see what the damage is from the picture or would you have to have in hand ?
Yes I do see it (gouge)over the eagle but can't see it on the obv. see some scratches but not like a gouge, anyway I'll return a coin like this in the future ,my pictures are much better then the sellers .If I bought from a dealer & had in hand I think I'd have to see that one over the eagle & would have passed on the coin, Thanks again on a lesson on buying online raw coins.
See it now ! I wish I didn't buy it but it's done & in the SD box ,the grading was a waste of one of the free gradings that PCGS gives when you join . Buying from dealers in person is the best way to go in the future.
to be fair, that is just how I view coins. Strangly eenough though, Ihave some great O morgans. Ruben
