    Hello

I have decided to put some high grade/ semi key morgans & peace dollars (65-67) into auction.

Use a reserve or no reserve, if so how much
How much % should i be getting??
    "buyback fees"?
    Request a certain position/section of catalog/sale?
    etc

    Thanx for the tips

I haven't consigned too much, but I know that when I consign something that is worth a bit I'm going to definitely make sure I check the timing of the actual auction and will insist that my coins aren't sold at 2 a.m. eastern time or during the middle of a big NFL playoff game or something like that... I'm sure that if you've followed some of the major auctions, you will know that many of them will run very late into the night and into the next morning. I definitely wouldn't want my coins selling while most folks are asleep or busy watching the big game.

Also, if I was confident that my coins were nice looking for the grade and that the auction and lot viewing was going to be well attended then I would sell with no reserve if your goal is to sell the coins. That said, if I were to sell my stuff at auction today I'd most likely use a reserve because I'd rather keep many of them as a collector than to let them go too cheap at auction. Even though my view of too cheap may be too expensive in the real market.

To date I've only listed things on eBay.
So most of your questions I haven't had to deal with.
But one thing I know, either open the bidding at the minimum you are willing to accept or set that price as your reserve.
And you'll have to do the math to take into account the Seller's Fee and the S&H.

Probably should go no reserve with these coins.

Depending on value, you should get 100-105% of hammer. Less if common dates with low value.

You will get less if you want reserves or no cost buyback.

Get into the main "live" auction session.

If you have an Heritage account, you should have Consignment Contacts on your My Heritage page.

Within 48 hours after I contacted them by email, with a spreadsheet list of some of my coins I wanted to sell, I received an email indicating their receipt of the email and later in the day, it was followed up by a phone call from one of their staff. Everything was explained to me on how to get the best money for my coins and all my questions were answered. I found the staff there a pleasure to work with and very professional.

If you will PM me, I can give you my consignment contacts if you don't have an account with them.
