was lookin through some old coins that my grandpa had saved up and just seeing what they were worth or if they are rare. 1. a 1792 i believe 8s (escudo) coin. dont know much info on it. 2. 1908 otto koenig von bayern coin.
Really hard to say for sure based on those pics but I'd say the 8 escudos is a fake. The 5 marks coin is pretty common and worth a few dollars but that's about it.
That would depend on the condition (grade) of the coin. Value on those can vary from bullion content to many thousands.

Yep, I agree. The 8 escudos is a cast counterfeit. The German coin is worth in the $20-$40 range depending on how accurate the pictures are.
