My guess, based on the amount of rain Michigan saw, is that you're getting a good bit of rain today.

Wow I cant believe what I am reading.I read a post in CU about this forum and decided to see it for myself.I was hoping to find the friendlier atmosphere that some spoke about.

All I see is arguing about who is in what tier and why someone else is wrong and they are right.Not much in the way of common ground in coin collecting or helpful posts.
good luck to everyone with their issues.Not what I had expected at all.

 

These guys are just joking back and forth with each other. They all know each other. Being that you are new I am sure it looked like they were serious but I can assure you they are not.

 

Nevermid, I understand what you were saying now. That is a rare instance here from a person who is no longer with us. He had issues that he needed to resolve. These guys are great and it is a great atmosphere on this forum

 

I think it would be unfair to base your opinion of a forum solely on a thread infected by a troll.

Why dontchya' try going back to CU and see if the hostility is any worse? (It is)
I think this thread has a tad of background knowledge that is needed to fully understand. You just joined, you don't understand what has happened in the past between these members.
This isn't an everyday discussion either, there are plenty of coin related threads, you could always look at those... TomCorona is to blame for this thread, and it seems to me that has been taken care of, so we can get back to coins.

Welcome. You have to pick and choose which threads to read here.
There are a few threads I stay away from. But the majority are informative.

I didn't expect to be able to log in today after my post. Not that it was anti-PCGS but it certainly want a positive post regarding the CU forums.

It's a shame, I really wanted an answer to my question. My question to Touche was "who exactly are you?"

To my knowledge he is not a member of any other coin forum except CU. On that forum he has less than 300 posts total and joined the forum in March 2009. All of the posts that I could find of his were one liners usually not related to coins.

In my experience there are three types of people on a coin forums: Collectors, Dealers, and Trolls. I will let you guys decide which category he falls into.
