Ummmmm, I wont be able to work on this tomorrow (I'm on vacation this week and going home tomorrow) so I'm hopin these answers aren't due til Sunday? maybe. I hope.

 

I stated this weekend so Sunday Night is fine with me.
Espically since I have only received 3 of the 9
This round seems to be much harder but it is the 3rd and we can't let this go on and on...someone wants to get their prizes some day

I know I'm not Duke but......
June 1755.
Surprisingly late. They were the last colony to authorize production of paper money. I was thinking 1600's to begin with.

Edit: I would love to know the page number of that lot number though...

 

Not a complaint, just an observation...

I appreciate the contests that you guys have put out over the last few weeks... I have lost a lot of sleep but learned a TON, but I have noticed there are SOOO many conflicting reports on some of the info available on some of the questions... For instance, I found atleast 3 different references to the May 1755 issuance of paper currency in Virginia but haven't found a single reference to June...

I went through dozens of articles on every question and learned stuff I never knew about lots of subjects, but I am surprised that I missed anything, but I did... I hope DK will send along the answers when he gets time... I am one of those real competitive types and am always disappointed when I missed something... Gratz to you winners though...
