    Hey CoinTalk
I recently bought a random lot on eBay. I know what most people say about random lots but I buy them just for the fun, even if it does not bring a profit.

Anyways one of the coins was a 1934-D Mercury dime with some toning on the back. I don't really have too many coins with color and I was wondering what it is worth.

The person that wrote on it wrote that the coin was worth $3.95.

Can you take some straight on pics of your coin please. Cant tell much of anything from the angle of your camera to the coin. Thank you.

It isn't worth much but who cares. Toned circulated Mercury Dimes are cool.

In my opinion it is worth less than the $3.95 written on the holder, but at least it has a baseline value of approximately $1.30 currently because of its silver content.

$3.95 is too high for that Merc. But it is nicely toned, and still a nice coin.
