found $6 loose and 6 CWR of halves today: 1 40%er and 1 1981S

I did happen to get 1 mother lode box a few weeks back, however. It had 2 Frankies, over 20 40%ers, and IIRC, 4 90%ers (most all of them in about 15 rolls). Hope this week's boxes have one like that one!

 

I'm around 2 40%ers per 4 boxes. CWR are way better for me.

 

Trying to figure out "IIRC," but nothing is coming to mind....

got through half a box of halves last night, 3 40%, sweet! Also the bank ordered me $1000 worth instead of $500, so I had to dig for some cash and going back today for the other box, whew!

Also need to buy some donuts for everyone I think, especially for my dump bank....

I found 2 silver quarters and a silver dime at work this morning

 

Wow! I have never seen a silver quarter in circulation (wish I did!).

I find maybe 1 silver quarter every two months or so in the change machines I sure was excited to see the two and the dime inside the same one.

 

I pulled a few outta my dads change in the early '90's. Nothing since then.

 

I haven't even found 1 in rolls for at least a couple of years now, dimes either.

Nice 68-S.:kewl:but since there not to many 2008- 2009 cents P or D in circulation. it seam like a lot of Bu looking 1981 and below have been turn in up in my change.has this been happening to u too???

 

I went through five rolls of machine rolled halves last night, no silver, but a harrison dollar was in one roll in addition to the 20 half dollars, so that was kind of fun.

 

I found a sacagawea dollar in a roll the other week I have also found 2 quarters so far in my machine rolled halves.

 

Yes crazy enough, I have found a few here and there. I am brand new to collecting, so to be honest, I have probably given back to circ wayyyy too many "keepers". Including the 2008s. I have kept the 2009's. As I get decent pics of the ones I think are worth holding on to, I will post them. Most are probably worth only face value, so nothing to get excited over, but with what I am learning on this forum as well as the reading i have/will be doing, I am hoping to possibly get a few excited replies every now and then

I see good amount of 2008 & 2009 cents in the bank boxes I get here in the Pacific NW. Many of them are already starting to turn black , grey & green (probably due to our damp climate).
I am averaging about 40% pre-1982 cents out of these same bank boxes.
I would guess that 60% of the pre-1982 cents I am pulling are in at least AU condition.
