Banks don't have them and I refuse to pay $15 for a $10 roll online.

Get the proof set from the Mint. $14.95 plus shipping.

I wanted the $10 rolls. I know the Mint would be happy to sell them to me for $32.95
so I was trying to get them for face value but my bank doesn't have them.

Trying to make a profit off of them, or just collecting?
In years past some quarters, dollars, and cents from the mint have re-sold on the secondary market for ridiculous premiums, although I don't have the numbers in front of me to say that'll happen with these.
Anyway, most banks have them, but they are just mixed with the other coins. You could always ask for a box of quarters, search through them, and make a roll of your own.

If you have alot of money and a bank that will order rolls you could probably get some new quarters. I have been getting rolls of halves that are original mint rolls. Just order like $5000 worth of quarters. Doubt your bank will have that on hand and they will have to go to their regional fed office to get them.

Thanks for the idea but 5k is a lot of dough to come up with to get $100 of quarters.

I asked my bank about ordering the quarters and they said they could not order them but instead got whatever they got. The teller mentioned that they don't order from the Fed but from another company that delivers the change.

I just want to collect the series. I may try going and just getting a box of quarters as you suggested. How much money is in one box?

This is simply not true. There is no way you will get a Yellowstone Quarter (released June 1st) by roll searching at this point in time.

I should've been more clear, you got me.
The quarters that were released earlier you will find, but the ones released later, of course not.
I thought it would be understood though, guess not.

I believe $500 to a box if I'm not mistaken.
Another benefit to roll searching is people find silver quarters in the boxes.

    I've got Yellowstone quarters!

I've got a BU roll of yellowstone quarters. I had to go on a US mint tour to get it though.

If you're rich, it's possible to get them at face value through the bulk purchase program. But most people would find it impractical to pay a $1,500 handling fee plus arranging shipping from the Mint plant with a minimum order of 200,000 coins. On the other hand, by the time you finished sorting through your purchase you'd be an expert on the series.

(Kidding, I think, though for all I know there's someone here with the money and dedication to go through with it).

  15. These will randomly show up around the country at banks for face value. As mentioned above, you can also travel to a Mint facility or attend an opening ceremony to also get these at face value. The mintage of AtB quarters is relatively low so far and may remain that way. Unfortunately, if you decide you want to collect these rolls, you will likely have to pay some sort of premium. TC

    So ...

Don't like the designs, don't like the concept, don't like the overload of 56 things to collect over 11 years, series fatigue from having the Mint produce so many other things, all of the above, or something else?

I actually like the national park quarters, I received one that was glued on a request for donations from the Council of Indian Nations, I already had the p and d from a local b&m, so I sold it to another hoarder at work. The designs are nice in that they are different, I would have liked to see the obverse reworked, Geo. Washington rejected the idea of his mug on the nations coinage , it seems disrespectful to ignore his wishes.

I will be picking them up and saving some of the nice designs, I would like it better if the mint created these coins due to commerce demands, so that in this slow economy there would be some truly low mintage issues. But that seems to me to be an unpopular opinion, the mint seems to try to satisfy everyone and sometimes when you try to make everyone happy nobodies happy.
