Charmy Thank you for the heads up on the flyers. I will make sure that is on my list of things to instruct the kids on. If there are any other dealers with input about the pages i would live to hear it. Richard
One other thing that I think would benefit the pages and help drum up more business. When the pages stop by and ask if we would like them to get us lunch, if they could have a menu handy or at least write down some of the main features the deli has to offer, that would also be very helpful. Thanks!
If the hall cannot supply me with menus I plan on copying down the entire menu board and printing them off myself.
Took a tour of the convention center today. The place is HUGE. Per the list I received Charmy's table # is 1444 right next to the "Ship of Gold" museum showcase. Anyone know of any other members that are dealers aselling at the show?
Ziggy, Thank you for letting me know my table number - and I'm glad to know it's right next to the Ship of Gold! That exhibit was a HUGE hit in Long Beach and drew one of the largest crowds at a Long Beach show. I am so looking forward to the Boston show. I'm even going a few days ahead of time to do some more siteseeing. See you all there!!!!
My pleasure Charmy looking forward to meeting you! Green18 looking forward to meeting you also! I will be easy to find as if I am not actually at the page table they will know how to find me in a matter of minutes.
So the question comes to play.. how will be able to identify one another? I plan on being there but do not plan on putting a big tag on me saying RickieB It will be nice to meet some of you I am sure. RB
Feel free to use my table (#1444!) as a meeting spot, usually around noon has been the norm (Todd at bluccphotos.com will also be setting up with me!).
So noon at Charmy's each day would allow as many as possible of us to meet. I'll be there every day but I'm sure there will be many one or two day attendees.
I may know her by face, rather than name since the name doesn't sound familiar. I'm a fairly new member, only a couple years and I went to my first WIN meeting at the April Milwaukee Central States show.
I say we all wear a big old bulls eye on our backs...:goofer: .....meeting at Charmies place at 12 noon is a great idea.
I wish I could get there as it is so close to home (Roughly 5 hours away...but it's a nice easy drive...yet too far to do as a one day thing) but I just won't be able to afford it. Hope you all have fun...
