Rollers are ONLY A POSSIBILITY; It's not the final answer.

From what you've stated I'm not sure what rollers are a possibility OF?

Once you explain that then we can talk about other possibility's that don't seem to exist.
I kept an open mind but your giving me nothing to believe in this other then your imagination, sorry.

Duke Kavanaugh; A task can be made in two o three different ways. The question is; what way was used when they destroyed the old Colony coins. These little images can be on the blanking punchs and be impressed when the planchets are made. Or are in the upsetting mill and be impressed when the rim is raised. Believe me, they are there; some where.

That's it for me! Another one who asks for opinions and then refuses to accept the grim reality. Bye! Bye!

    Carlos,

What do you think these symbols mean and who is responsible for them being there?

Jallengomez; I never been in the mint yet. I have a little experience with Dies and Stamping. But that is't. I don't know my self from where these symbols are coming. Just I pulled down the 1988 penny from this fourum (post of ZEKEGUZZ). And there are again, all over the Oberse; specially in the back of the head close to the neck

Carlos you do realize that the mint replaced most of the equipment in the 1960's with new equipment and has done so since then. So how did the little king get in the new equipment.

Sorry every body I did not answer yesterday, was a little busy in my work. Any way I had some time to spend in that 1988 Oberse Lincoln (ZEKEGUZZ-POST) and appear again like it has A SCARF ON, and a lot of unidentified signs every where. ICE; The question is when? they destroyed the old coins and if they are using that material in the new coins.

When coins are melted they are liquified, there wouldn't be any residual images from anything that could get transferred to equipment.

In this post. Can some body identified that? For me is like a "Y" or a "M". By the way I don't do drugs. You can have beautifull experiencess by breathing deep, relaxing all your body and make some POSITIVE images inside of your mind. (Meditation).

I do see the Y OR V above. Maybe someone is using paint markers to draw pictures on the dies between runs? OR Maybe planchet inperfections or dust?

Since there is no "M" on the obverse, and the only "Y" is much larger than that, I can only assume that it came from........from........deep breathing.

That "V" is the normal Roman expression of 5. The question is... from where those two letters are coming.
