:D I'll probably sell the $50 star since I can't afford to keep those, but 11 $1 star notes was a welcome addition!!!

Does someone save these for you, or did you find them? If found how many you look through to find 11 star notes?

I have a very friendly teller who goes through all of her cash and saves every star she sees. I go in once a week and buy them from her. It is quite a nice deal (I sent brownies to her boss to present to her for being a great and friendly teller).

Standing in line at the store, I saw the lady in front of me give the cashier a small faced $10. I only had enough on me for my purchase. Ran out to the truck to get more money and when I asked for the old ten, she had just given it to someone else. I ran out the door and asked him if I could buy it and he said yes. Another passenger had a small face $20 and sold it to me as well. They were:
    $20 1990 G00814845F FP-E179 BP-276 VF-XF
    $10 1993 L70295398A FP-H6 BP-554 F-VF

Never done that before and found nothing great, but glad I did

I love buying things through the automated checkout at Jewel, because they tend to dispense brand new, sequential bills. Today I payed for some strawberries with a Twenty, and got 3 brand new $5's in CHCU, all sequential. I think I will save them, because it is only $15 after all. If say, it was 3 $20's in order, I'd save 1, or maybe 2, then sell the other one on here or on ebay for face or a little above it.

Dad got a 1985 $1 in change after dinner. I nabbed it real quick-like. Pretty good condition, still rigid, and semi-crisp. A keeper for sure.

I went to the bank today and my favorite teller gave me these. They only printed 512,000 of the 100’s, 12,160,000 of the 20’s, and 8,960,000 of the 5’s.

i am usually into coins, but for some reason paper money is becoming interesting to me. i seen this sitting in a cashiers register, so i had to buy it off them. also i tried searching and did find a site, but it didn't have the info i needed, so i am hoping someone can help? i need a site that can give me printing run numbers.. i have some older silver certs i need to look up the numbers on.. so any help would be great!

and for the 1976 $2, i know its a very common year, but from what i found they printed 640,000 of them. not really a low number, but the series "I" is tied for lowest run for the year! just to bad its beat up:(.

and the site i tried was USPaperMoney.Info. i did find the year 1957, but couldn't figure out the run...

I have a nice teller that saves these notes for me, most aren’t in great shape but I’m a sucker for any note that is old. Its amazes me how many old notes still come through the banks.

I started asking for $50 in singles when I got to dump my change, and today I got 2 that I kept. One I kept because was a series 1988 A, and I haven't seen anything that old in circulation recently. It is pretty beat up, still crispy, but it is so wrinkled. Another is a series 2003 serial # D66728554C, the last 5 in the upper right serial looks like it is printed slightly lower than the previous numbers, unless it is my eyes.
