Newest Quarter 1873 Arrows

    Newest purchase, shes in NGC plastic. guess the grade?

    MS63 is my guess. And a very nice one too!

    I'll take a swag at MS-61 and a beauty of a coin. Nice addition.

    I think it is a nice slider at au58, nice toning, it looks to me like there is wear on her right knee, and a slight bit of wear on the hair above her eyes and on the neckline of her blouse. I like it, and someday....

    Chip,

    SPOT ON! thats the only thing keeping this coin from UNC is the slight rub on her knees.

    I'll go with AU58. Aside from what appears to be a small amount of rub on Ms. Liberty's knee, there is also chatter in the fields on both sides that is more consistent with an AU coin than an MS coin.

    You know sometimes I like the look of a decent slider more than a low mint state coin. I only have one seated quarter and it is holed, I rescued it from the melt pile then the dealer charged me three times melt, it is an 1854 with arrows, I was tempted to throw it back but I might put it on a chain and wear it round my neck.
