Are These good prices for the 1883 CC and 1921 Peace Dollar. I have bought off this website before and they are pretty legit. I just don't want to over pay. They coins seem to be in pretty good shape. I'm just a new to collecting and trying to fill some books of decent coins. Thanks in advance:

The Peace I would say yes not bad. The Morgan, eh! For that condition you could find a little less than $100 for it, even with it being a CC coin.

The seller has little knowledge about CC coins. He thinks 1,204,000 is very little. Compared to the other branches minting Morgans that year CC was the least number, but I interpret his statement: "This coin was Minted in Carson City. They only made a very few there" as in general for the 41 years Carson City minted coins.

I definitely would try and snap up that Peace for $30. They can run closer to $50 in MS-64, and I believe that is a strong 63 at the least, but does have a very good chance for 64.

bought it! Thanks. Now my big question is: Shoudl i send it in to pcgs? I heard its about $28 bucks a coin after all fees/shipping is done. I don't have an account there yet. I also have a 1799 Silver dollar I was told was VF maybe XF. Only reason i know is cuz my friend who is a big collector offered me $2500 for it. Does PCGS grade that old of a coin. I have seen listings before that only say genuine. I don't want that i want to know exactly what it is. Please help me learn about pcgs also. Another thing

Can you post pictures within your thread that do not take me to the linked website? I ask because I do not trust that website that you have embedded. Thanks.

I'd pass on the 83CC. It's not a rare coin where CC Morgans are concerned. It would only grade F/VF at best, and you can get an MS 83CC for about $200.

the price was $130 not just $30. Regardless that thriftshop has decent deals. Most of what she prices if off the greysheet.

I think that was a typo on the OP's part. It is actually a 1923 Peace.

Sorry old fellow, but i've got a problen with "shoes" and "clothing" consignments. Somehow doesn't seem to mesh with "coins".....:)

I didn't see a 1921 Peace on her site, but even $130 is way out of line. Either there is something wrong with the coin, or it is not a 1921.

I think I see hairlines in the fields from an old cleaning, but I can't be sure.
