I found a 1964 nickel with no mint mark and it looks new.Can anyone tell me about this coin?I have looked all over the net and can't find anything. Thanks
1964 nickel mint mark Thank you!! I also have a 1904 V cents.I am assuming it's a nickel also. Can you tell me anything about this?
It's whats called a "V" nickel. The correct term is a liberty head nickel, There no worth much unless it is in mint condition
Liberty head nickel. Post a pic and ask your questions. There's lots of helpful people here but a pic makes things a lot easier.
Sounds like a standard Philadelphia mint 1964 Jefferson. One of over one billion minted. But if it looks like this, it is worth some money.
Hey I did some research and I found that a "poor" 1964 nickel with no mint mark is about 35 cents.and for a "good" it would be 1 dollar.
I have two 1977 and also have a 1964 nickel with no mint mark can u tell me what that is worth. Just for the 1977.
Sorry, but its still just worth 5 cents. Your gonna have to go 1950s and below to be worth more than face and still the value would only be a few cents over face unless it's Unc. or a better date.
What in God's name is that suppose to say? Note to self, a little work in punctuation and spell check goes a long way.
Wow, If only I could get .35 to 1$ for 1964 nickels.... Each box has about two or three per roll it seems.. Very interesting
Javier, please only post once and wait for a reply, at least 24 hrs, as many are only on a short time on the weekend. Do not give your phone number or email address in a post, the bots can pick it up. Take your time in composing your post because if we can't figure out what you are asking, we can't answer. The post you were quoting above is from several years ago and many do not answer zombie posts. Your 1964 nickel has no mint mark as almost certainly it was minted in Philadelphia which in 1964 did not use a mint mark, none --> Philadelphia.
I think got a 1912-s, its for sure a 1912 but im not 100% on the S. Is it worth $ either way or only if its 1912-s? Also got a 1797 penny in pretty bad shape but for something that old its got to be worth something, right????
Welcome to CT @James-b. For more responses, you may want to start your own thread about your coins. Images would be very helpful as well.
